BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 17 – Kampung Panchor Murai Mosque has held the Closing Ceremony of Dikir Syarafil Anam 12 nights in a row in conjunction with the Maulud of Prophet Muhammad SAW held at the mosque last night.
Present as guest of honor was the Director of the Fire and Rescue Department, Awang Azmi Bin Haji Hafneh.
The ceremony began with congregational Maghrib prayers, followed by a special talk in conjunction with the Maulud of Prophet Muhammad SAW delivered by the Assistant Religious Officer, Islamic Dawah Center, Ustaz Pg Haji Reduan Bin Pg Haji Badaruddin.
The ceremony continued with congregational Isya prayers followed by the recitation of the Dikir Syarafil Anam (Dikir Marhaban), the Dikir Prayer and also the presentation of souvenirs to the guests of honor before concluding with the recitation of the Sultan’s Prayer for the Protection of the Sultan.
The ceremony is one of the mosque’s annual activities to both invigorate and enliven the celebration of Islam’s great day in addition to receiving the intercession of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
