Singer Datuk Khadijah Ibrahim informed that she is now in a good condition after being involved in a road accident in Beaufort, Sabah on Monday afternoon.
Grateful that there were no serious injuries, Khadijah, 64, however, said she would do further examinations at a nearby hospital to get the latest confirmation of her health.
“I’m okay, nothing serious. There is only a little pain in the head, shoulders and neck.
“Everyone in the vehicle is safe and there are no serious injuries.
“Today I just want to go to the hospital to do an x-ray or whatever. Sometimes things like this, we don’t know what can happen,” he said when contacted mStar on Tuesday.
Previously, the four-wheel drive car driven by Khadijah was reported to have been involved in a collision with a vehicle while traveling from Brunei to Kota Kinabalu.
Commenting on the cause of the incident, Khadijah said it happened because a vehicle from the opposite direction suddenly entered her lane causing a collision.
Although the accident was caused by the negligence of the other party, Khadijah still tried to resolve it amicably because she sympathized with the fate of the driver.
“I’m from Brunei and just finished promoting for the concert, so we want to stop at several places including Kota Kinabalu.
“Day is not night. I drove the car in the right lane but the car didn’t notice that he had suddenly entered our lane. That is the reason for the clash.
“I and the other party have already resolved amicably, I also sympathize with his unwell condition at that time. For me, things have already happened, I can’t do anything,” he explained. – Agency
