BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 9- As usual, the highlight of the maulud celebration at the national level is the gathering and parade at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Accordingly, the Gathering and Parade of the Celebration of Prophet Muhammad SAW’s Birthday for the Year 1446 Hijrah will be held simultaneously throughout the country on Monday, September 16 starting at 7 am with the theme Keeping Reason Guided by the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam.
To ensure the smoothness of the event, a briefing and meeting related to the celebration was held this morning at the Multaqa Hall, Lower Level, Additional Building, Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU).
The meeting was chaired by the Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religion), KHEU, Dr. Haji Hardifadhillah bin Haji Mohd Salleh who also acted as the Chairman of the Assembly and Parade Working Committee for the Maulud Celebration of the Prophet Muhammad SAW for the Year 1446 Hijrah, with the aim of giving briefings and explanations regarding the format of the assembly and parade to the team leaders who will participate during the meeting later.
The agencies that also participated in the briefing were the National Customs Department, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, the Royal Brunei Police Force, the Fire and Rescue Department, the Ministry of Health, the Town Department, the Vehicle and Transport Division, KHEU and also the Council Secretariat.
This year, gatherings, parades and parades are divided into five categories which are unnumbered team categories; categories of ministries; category of higher education institution/ college/ Arabic school/ private high school; categories of villages and mosques and also categories of associations and the private sector.
The briefing is expected to give understanding to the representatives of the team leaders on the matters that arise to ensure that this year’s rally and parade will run smoothly and perfectly as intended.
