Actor Kim Woo Bin recalls his battle against cancer Nasopharyngeal which he suffered about seven years ago.
Allkpop reported, Woo Bin, 35, said at that time the doctor gave him an estimated life expectancy of only six months. Woo Bin said, the statement gave him a great blow and made him feel like he was in a drama scene.
“I am a positive person and always try to find my advantage in any situation. It was like a scene in a drama when the doctor suddenly said I might only have six months to live.
“I was shocked, scared and hoping it was just a dream. But even though I was afraid, I never thought what if I couldn’t overcome this problem. It didn’t immediately cross my mind,” he said.
In the meantime, Woo Bin expressed his gratitude for receiving the support of many as a strength for him to fight the disease.
Drama actress Black Night I also want to thank everyone who has been praying for his recovery.
“Many who know me give me prayers and support. I believe that support gives me strength. I want to thank the people who have been praying for my health,” he said.
In 2017, Woo Bin’s agency confirmed that the actor had cancer Nasopharyngeal which is a type of cancer that occurs between the respiratory tract and the throat.
However, Woo Bin was lucky because the cancer was detected at an early stage before it spread to other places and was confirmed cancer-free in 2019. – Agency
