Actor Lee Joongi did not expect his presence for the first time in Malaysia to receive a warm welcome from fans.
Joong Gi, 42, said he regretted not coming to Malaysia earlier to entertain the fans here. The actor was overwhelmed by the reception of the fans and promised to come back with a better performance.
“The enthusiastic reception of the fans made me regret not coming to Malaysia earlier. Thank you for accepting my presence. Malaysian fans are really strong. I promise to come back here with a better performance,” he said.
Joong Gi shared the matter through the ‘2024 Lee Joong Gi Asian Tour Malaysia’ event held at the Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur last night.
In the meantime, Joong Gi said he chose a few songs to sing at this fan meeting event according to the public’s choice. According to the actor, he tried to entertain the audience even though he was not a singer.
“Most of the songs I chose tonight (Sunday) are my fans’ favourites. I have been singing and dancing for 18 years. But I want to remind everyone that I am not a great singer but just an actor. I just want to entertain the fans well,” he said.
Despite being in his 40s, the singer from Busan, South Korea deserves to be praised for still being able to give an energetic performance through 16 songs. Most of the songs that were sung were also interspersed with lively energetic dance choreographers.
Among the songs sung by Joong Gi include Thank You, Ma Lady, Chosen One, In My Heart and much more.

The three-hour performance was also interspersed with two segments of interaction with fans through the activity of recording five selfie ideas according to the audience’s choice and action performances from the actors in question. – Agency
