A good week after announcing their comeback, Linkin Park landed at number one in the German single charts for the second time. This was announced by GfK Entertainment. The new front woman is Emily Armstrong, the new song “The Emptiness Machine”. It went straight to the top last week – and currently remains number one. Shirin David follows with her summer hit “Bauch Beine Po” in second place. The top 5 is completed by singer Ayliva (“Lilien”, third place) and the German singer Berq (“Rote Fahnen”, fourth place). The duo Ayliva & Apache 207 slipped from third to fifth with “Wunder”.
In the album charts, 01099 landed at number one with their album “Kinder der Nacht”. Behind them is In Extremo with “Wolkenschieber” and also new to the number three is the Antilopen Gang with their new album “Alles muss Reparatur werden”. The British guitarist and singer David Gilmour, who became world famous as a member of Pink Floyd, slipped from number one to number four this week with “Luck and Strange”. Behind him is singer Ayliva with “In Liebe” in fifth place.
