A man is said to have shouted anti-constitutional slogans on a roof near the Warschauer Bridge in Berlin-Friedrichshain. The man is also said to have given the Hitler salute there on Tuesday morning, according to Berlin police. According to police, he appeared to be heavily intoxicated and was in danger of falling four to five meters from the roof as he staggered.

A police officer climbed onto the roof, which borders the Warschauer Strasse subway station, and reportedly spoke to the man. When the 44-year-old became aggressive and approached the police officer with two full cans of drinks, the police officer reportedly used a taser on the man and arrested him.

The 44-year-old was taken to a hospital for psychiatric assessment, it was reported. Officials are investigating him for using symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations.
