Nathanaël Mbuku is leaving FC Augsburg and moving to Croatian record champions Dinamo Zagreb. The Bundesliga club did not disclose the terms of the transfer. However, the club has secured a buy-back option for the 22-year-old attacker.

Mbuku, who is currently on international duty with the DR Congo national team, played on loan for French second division club AS Saint-Etienne last season. He is now even playing in the Champions League with Zagreb. The Croatians will face Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, among others, in the league phase of the reformed premier class.

“I would like to thank those responsible at FC Augsburg for making this step possible for me,” said Mbuku.
