TEMBURONG, 21 OCT – Several members of the Scout Association 4001 Sultan Hassan High School (SMSH), Temburong District along with several Assistant Commissioners and Leaders of the Temburong District Scout Team participated in the Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) at the Temburong District level, yesterday.
JOTI is an international scouting activity held every year. Through the use of designated chat from around the world, participants can contact their fellow scouts over the Internet. Common communication methods include ScoutLink (IRC), email and VOIP.
It also provides scouts to gain knowledge about fellow scouts from around the world.
JOTI operates together with Jamboree in the Air (JOTA) and is an official event of the World Scout Movement, including the Brunei Darussalam Scout Association.
