A 35-year-old is said to have met other men via an online dating platform in order to drug them with knockout drops in their apartments and rob them. One of the victims died. The alleged perpetrator must answer to the Berlin Regional Court from Thursday (9.15 a.m.). Two crimes in November 2023 have been charged.
According to the investigation, a 52-year-old was already under the influence of alcohol when he was secretly given so-called knockout drops. He suffered a heart attack as a result of the poisoning and died. The defendant is said to have fled with at least 1,000 euros, a luxury watch and other valuables. The charges include aggravated robbery and robbery resulting in death. Seven days of trial are scheduled so far.
