SIBU, 27 OCT – Cash amounting to RM301,231 belonging to a missing company was stolen by two men who broke the window of a woman’s car in an incident at the parking area of ​​Jalan Kampung Nyabor yesterday morning.

Sibu District Police Chief, ACP Zulkipli Suhaili said a report regarding the incident was received at 11:10 yesterday morning and before the incident, a 27-year-old woman who is also an employee of the company had withdrawn the money from a bank.

“Preliminary investigations found that the victim had been followed since leaving the bank after withdrawing money while carrying a bag full of cash.

“When the victim parked his vehicle in the parking lot, the suspect broke the driver’s side car window and stole a bag that was placed on the seat next to him,” he said in a statement today.

He said after that, the suspect went to his friend who was waiting on the side of the road before they fled the scene on a motorcycle.

Zulkipli said efforts to track down the two suspects were being made based on the dashboard camera footage of the victim’s vehicle and the police reminded the public to be more careful when dealing in banks and not to place valuables in places where criminals can easily reach them. – Named
