LABUAN, SEPT 5 – The operator of the Labuan container port, Megah Port Management Sdn Bhd (MPM) strengthened its cooperation with the Labuan Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) to ensure the stability of the supply of consumer goods with good monitoring on the duty-free island.

Labuan KPDN Director, Junaidah Arbain in emphasizing the importance of this collaboration, recognized the important role of MPM as a port operator in ensuring that consumer goods are delivered smoothly to the market.

“We carefully monitor the supply of essential goods such as sugar, cooking oil and other necessities that come through MPM. We want close cooperation from Megah Port, and delays in the movement of cargo must be reported to KPDN to ensure smooth flow, especially for important goods,” he told Named after a courtesy visit by MPM management at Labuan KPDN, today.

He further praised MPM’s initiative in building close relationships with relevant government agencies, which will further streamline the movement of goods throughout the island.
