YANGON, OCT 6– Myanmar celebrated World Teachers’ Day 2024 with a major event at the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, according to daily newspaper reports. Myanmar Alinn, today.
The ceremony was attended by members of the National Administrative Council, teachers and students. In the event, certificates of appreciation and cash prizes were given to meritorious individuals, outstanding teachers, and students who won the article and poetry writing contest in conjunction with the celebration.
In addition to the ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw, similar ceremonies were also held in schools in various regions and states throughout the country.
