Senior defensive lineman Ty Robinson anchors a strong front with nine solo tackles and four sacks.
The defense is No. 1 in the Big Ten in sacks and tackles for a loss. The Cornhuskers have tallied nine sacks in the last two games. Nebraska’s rushing defense is ranked seventh in the nation, allowing just 84.2 yards per game. They are the only team in the FBS to not allow a touchdown this season.

The Hoosiers (6-0, 3-0) are approaching unchartered waters as they have yet to trail in a game this season. It’s only the second time in program history. The previous occasion was 1967. The schedule this far has been light, ranking 115th in the nation.
With a heavy push into the transfer portal, it’s been a brilliant turnaround under first-year coach Curt Cignetti. They have already won more Big Ten games than the entire previous three seasons combined.
Indiana has scored at least 41 points in five of six games this season. They average 47.5 points per game, which is third in the nation. The high-flying attack puts up 515 yards per game, which is fourth in the nation.
The revitalized offense is spearheaded by senior transfer quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who has amassed 1,752 yards, 14 touchdowns and two interceptions. His 91.9 QBR is the third-highest in the nation. Rourke has thrown six touchdowns in his last two games and has two rushing touchdowns this season.
Junior receiver Elijah Sarratt is the top target, reeling in 29 receptions for 513 yards and two touchdowns. He averages 17.7 yards per reception.
Guided by a dynamic senior duo, the Hoosiers’ run game is lethal, tallying 200 yards per game, which is 31st in the nation. Their 23 rushing touchdowns checks in as the third-best mark in the FBS. Ty Son Lawton bores the brunt of the load, tallying 68 carries for 329 yards and seven touchdowns. Justice Ellison is right behind with 64 carries for 409 yards and six touchdowns.
The ground attack will have a tall task against a physical Cornhuskers front line.
Indiana‘s red zone offense has been the backbone of its scoring success. They are averaging a 92% success rate, including 81% via touchdowns. The Hoosiers are No. 1 in the nation with 37 red zone opportunities this season.
Much like their rushing game, Indiana’s red zone offense will be tested as Nebraska ranks No. 11 in the nation in red zone defense, allowing the opposition to score 69% of the time.
Indiana’s rushing defense has been a wall, ranking fourth in the nation. Junior defensive lineman Mikail Kamara has 10 solo tackles, five sacks and a forced fumble. Junior linebacker Aidan Fisher has 21 solo tackles and 1.5 sacks. The Hoosiers have compiled 19 sacks, good enough for 10th in the FBS.
Their pass defense is no slouch, allowing just 9.29 yards per completion, which is the fifth-fewest in the FBS.
The Hoosiers own a slight edge in the series, 10-9-3. Nebraska has won six of the past seven matchups.
