CLEVELAND, Ohio — Continued work on rehabilitating the Center Street Bridge over the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland will result in some “short-duration” closures on Tuesday, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The closures should not last more than 30 minutes, ODOT says. There is no schedule for the closures.
Other new impacts that Northeast Ohio drivers might encounter in the coming weeks are listed below.
U.S. 422 eastbound between Cannon Road and Harper Road will have various lane restrictions from 9 p.m. Sept. 20 through 5 a.m. Sept. 23 for bridge repairs.
I-90 at Westway Drive will have various shoulder closures beginning through late September.
U.S. 422 westbound over Chagrin River Road will have various lane restrictions from Tuesday through Thursday.
I-480 eastbound ramp to I-271 north/U.S. 422 east will have various lane restrictions from 9 p.m. today through 5 a.m. Monday for bridge repairs.
Lakeview Avenue over I-90 will be closed beginning Tuesday for approximately 30 days.
U.S. 422 over the LaDue Reservoir will have various lane restrictions beginning Sept. 23 through mid-October.
The following ramps will be closed for a short duration between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. today and Saturday for resurfacing.
Ohio 21 (Brecksville Road) northbound to Ohio 17 (Granger Road) westbound. The detour is Ohio 21 north to East 71st Street south to Canal Road east to Warner Road south to Ohio 17.

Ohio 87 just east of Hillbrook Lane is reduced to one lane maintained by a temporary traffic signal through July 2025 for culvert replacement.
Ohio 168 between Patch Road and Shed Road has various lane restrictions maintained by flaggers through October.
Ohio 306 under U.S. 422 is reduced to one lane in each direction weekly at 8 p.m. Fridays through 8a.m. Mondays through September.
I-90 and Ohio 528 entrance and exit ramps have various lane restrictions and traffic pattern shifts through mid-October for safety improvements.
I-90 between Ohio 84 and I-271 has various off-peak lane restrictions through September for guardrail replacement.
I-90 between Ohio 174 and Riverside Drive has various lane restrictions and traffic pattern shifts through October for slope repairs.
I-90 under Ohio 44 has various lane restrictions and traffic pattern shifts through October for bridge painting.
Ohio 91 (SOM Center Road) between U.S. 20 and Ohio 2 has various lane restrictions through mid-November for bridge repairs.
Ohio 306 between Markell Road and Eisenhower Drive is reduced to southbound traffic only through late September. The detour for northbound traffic is Ohio 615 to I-90 to Ohio 306.
Ohio 640 (Vine Street) between Willowick Drive and Ohio 283 (Lakeshore Boulevard) is reduced to one lane in each direction through November for resurfacing.
U.S. 6 between Rockefeller Road and Ohio 91 is reduced to westbound traffic only through October for resurfacing. The detour for eastbound traffic is Ohio 91 (SOM Center Road) to Eddy Road to Rockefeller Road.
U.S. 6 between Ohio 84 (Bishop Road) and Ohio 91 (SOM Center Road) has various lane restriction for resurfacing through October.
U.S. 20 between Townline Road and Ohio 528 has various lane restrictions and traffic-pattern shifts through November for pavement replacement.
Mantel Road over Ohio 2 is closed through November for bridge replacement. The detour is U.S. 20 to Ohio 535.
Ohio 2 under Mantel Road has various lane restrictions and short duration closures through September.
Ohio 615 between Andrews Road and Center Street has various nightly lane restrictions between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. through October.
Ohio 43 between Evergreen Drive and Frost Road is reduced to one lane in each direction through late November for roadway widening.
Ohio 305 just east of Ohio 700 is closed through early October for a bridge replacement. The detour is Ohio 82 to Ohio 88.
The ramp from I-76 east to Ohio 59 will be closed through late October. The detour is I-76 east to Main Street to I-76 west to Dart Avenue/Ohio 59.
Ohio 21 northbound under I-77 is closed nightly between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. through late September. The detour is I-77 southbound to Ridgewood Road to I-77 northbound.
Brush Road over I-77 is closed through Tuesday for bridge repairs. The detour is Brecksville Road to Boston Mills Road to Black Road.
The ramp from Glenwood Avenue to Ohio 8 southbound will be closed daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning Sept. 23, through mid-October. The detour is Glenwood Avenue to Howard Street to Tallmadge Avenue.
The ramp from Ohio 46 south to Ohio 82 east will be closed Thursday evening through late spring 2025. The detour is Ohio 82 west to Elm Road to Ohio 82 east.
