Not everyone agrees about this park: Berlin-Spandau wants a 6000 meter long green belt build and use wasteland for this purpose (“Green Ring”). However, residents fear unrest, light and noise, for example in the green belt on Wilhelmstrasse, which has been closed off for years and where the popular “Forellenhof Roter” has had its ponds since 1963.
