Weapons, Loran Road
On Sept. 23 a driver was stopped after a registration check revealed the owner had multiple warrants for her arrest. The 22-year-old Elyria woman was arrested and found to be in possession of drugs and a loaded firearm. She was taken to North Olmsted Police Department where she was held for court on charges of having a weapon under disability, violating a protection order and traffic violations.
Drunk driving, Lorain Road
On Sept. 25 officers responded to a car crash in the parking lot at Circle K. One of the drivers involved, a 79-year-old Fairview Park man, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was unable to successfully complete field sobriety tests. He was arrested.
Drunk driving, Clifford Drive
On Sept. 26 officers stopped a driver for a traffic violation. The driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. The 55-year-old driver was unable to successfully complete field sobriety tests and was arrested.
Theft, Lorain Road
On Sept. 26 a construction company truck was reported stolen from a job site on the Lorain Road bridge. The vehicle was found the following day and evidence was collected. The investigation is ongoing.
