CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Ohio Democratic Party and others have filed a lawsuit with the Ohio Supreme Court seeking to invalidate Secretary of State Frank LaRose’s directive that only voters submitting their own ballots can use county Board of Elections drop boxes.
Late last month, LaRose ordered that anyone returning a ballot for someone else would have to either mail the ballot or drop it off inside the elections office, where they must also sign a form attesting that they are legally doing so.
