In Friedrichshain, for example, there is the nature trail in the Volkspark or the lively city gardening center on the RAW site. Native plants are sold there, workshops are held, and you can get advice on greening your balcony.

In addition to the 12 offers in Friedrichshain, there are 23 in Kreuzberg. A wild and open garden area can be accessed in the “Ton Steine Gardens” on Mariannenplatz – named after the Kreuzberg band “Ton Steine Scherben” around singer Rio Reiser, after whom a square not far from the garden was named.

“While some facilities are already very well booked or even overbooked in some cases, others are not yet sufficiently known among their target groups,” Judith Hübner from the network told Tagesspiegel. The map is intended to help those looking for accommodation and those offering accommodation find each other more easily.

Schools that want to supplement their lessons by visiting green learning places, people who want to volunteer in the nearest community garden, for example, families planning their next weekend trip and many others will find suitable information on the map. The creation of the map was funded by the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment.
