GAZA, OCT 25 – More than 150 Palestinians were killed or injured yesterday evening, in an Israeli airstrike that targeted about 10 houses in Jabalia, northern Gaza, whose siege began 20 days ago, the Agency reported. Anatolia.
“A terrible massacre is taking place in Jabalia, with over 150 martyrs and wounded by Israeli fire. No one moved to save them,” Gaza’s civil defense service said in a statement.
The statement added that Israeli forces targeted the houses belonging to the families of Najjar, Abu Al-Ouf, Salman, Hijazi, Abu Al-Qumsan, Aqel Abu Rashid, Abu Al-Tarabish, Zaqoul, and Shaalan.
“The (Israeli) occupation forces bombed entire residential blocks in the area, and residents called for help to transport the injured until now,” according to the statement.
“Residents are facing great difficulties in removing dead bodies and injured victims after the Israeli army interfered with civil defense operations and medical services in the northern part of Gaza.”
Israeli forces have been encircling the north for about three weeks, attacking from the air and on the ground, besieging hospitals and refugee shelters and forcing residents to head south. Hospitals in the area have either stopped providing medical services or are operating on a very limited basis due to the attack.
