Gor Minasyan, a former member of the national team of Armenia, now competing under the flag of Bahrain, compared the large number of Armenian fans present in the weightlifting hall of Paris to the intense atmosphere of the weightlifting championship held in Yerevan.
The head coach of the Armenian weightlifting team, Pashik Alaverdyan, particularly emphasized that the Paris Olympic Games were held in an atmosphere of familiarity.
