Pearly-Thinaah fulfills the prediction to the second round of the Denmark Open

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 OCT – Malaysia’s leading women’s doubles team, Pearly Tan-M Thinaah, lived up to the predictions when they advanced to the second round of the 2024 Denmark Open badminton tournament after eliminating the Indian pair, Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand Pullela, today.

The Malaysian pairing started shaky when they lost 19-21, before rising to win 21-17 thus dragging it to the deciding match.

The third set match saw both pairs chase each other’s points before the world’s seventh-ranked national pair secured a 21-15 victory.

Pearly-Thinaah will face the winner of the match between South Korea’s Lee Yu Lim-Shin Seung Chan and Scotland’s Julie Macpherson-Ciara Torrance.
