BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 08 OCT – In conjunction with the celebration of the age of His Majesty His Majesty the King’s wife Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha, the Police Wives and Family Welfare Group (PEKERTI) yesterday held a Surah Yassin Reading Ceremony and Thanksgiving Prayer held at the Banquet Hall Mes, Police Headquarters Complex recently.
The ceremony was attended by the Police Commissioner’s wife as the Head of PEKERTI, Pengiran Datin Hajah Zauyah binti Pengiran Haji Sulaiman. Also present were members of the PEKERTI Supreme Committee and members from the seven branches of PEKERTI.
The ceremony is one of PEKERTI’s annual activities and is managed by the PEKERTI Religious Body chaired by Dr Hjh Norirlernwati binti Haji lsmail and aims to commemorate the Puja of the Age of His Majesty the King of Lsteri as the Patron of PEKERTI
The ceremony started with a congregational Maghrib prayer, Hajat circumcision prayer and followed by a mass recitation of Surah Yassin led by Dayang Norliza binti Abd Jalil (wife of Corporal 5536 Haji Masrody bin Haji Asli).
Next, the ceremony continued with the recitation of a Special Prayer for His Majesty the King’s Wife Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha, the recitation of Selected Greetings and followed by the performance of Fardu lsyak prayers in congregation.
