Pet Project: Kevin wants to be your minion

Pet Project: Kevin wants to be your minion

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Kansas Humane Society’s Director of Communications Jordan Bani-Younes brought Kevin to visit Thursday during the Pet Project segment on KSN News at Noon.

Kevin is a 2-month-old shorthair mix cat who is very playful. Jordan says he has lived with adult cats and loves it.

There’s no word on whether or not he enjoys bananas or wearing blue denim overalls. For more information about Kevin or how to adopt him, visit his page at the Kansas Humane Society.

Jordan also discussed upcoming events at the Kansas Humane Society: Read to Rover and Furry Film Friday.

Read to Rover is for children in 1st through 5th grade who are working on their reading skills. This Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., children can read aloud to therapy dogs at the Kansas Humane Society in 30-minute sessions. Register your child in advance by clicking here.

On Friday, Oct. 18, they are hosting another Furry Film Friday. From 6 to 8:30 p.m., children grades 1-5 can enjoy pizza, a movie, and ice cream while getting cozy with the animals at the KHS. Register your child in advance by clicking here.
