MIRI, SEPT 29 – The Sarawakku Sayang 2024 MADANI Rakyat (PMR) program which was held for three days starting Friday, recorded the attendance of about 300,000 visitors.
The Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) in a statement informed that the program held in the grounds of a shopping center here, also recorded a record sales value of RM500,000 for the first two days of its organization.
The statement informed the sales value record, recorded through MADANI Agro and Entrepreneur Sales, MADANI Rahmah Sales, Sarawak Kitchen, food trucks, Telco Rahmah and Coffee Corner.
“The organization of PMR this time successfully achieved the goal of revealing and introducing various government initiatives to ensure the well-being of the people, especially in dealing with the issue of the cost of living and the national agenda in empowering the youth,” according to the statement.
PMR 2024 Sarawakku Sayang is organized by PETRA as the lead ministry together with the Performance Surge Coordination Unit (PACU) of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Sarawak Government.
With the desire to prioritize the well-being of the people, PMR 2024 Sarawakku Sayang brings more than 200 Federal and Sarawak government services, directly to the people.
At the opening ceremony yesterday, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim completed the presentation of the Sejahtera Komuniti MADANI program (SejaTi MADANI) to recipients from the local community involved in the five focus sectors. – Named
