PPWS Miri, Lutong to Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 10 – A total of 15 members of the Federation of Sarawak Women’s Associations (PPWS) from Miri and Lutong districts, recently had a two-day goodwill study tour to Brunei Darussalam.

The delegation led by PPWS Chairman of Miri and Lutong districts, Sharipah Zuraidah binti Wan Hill, was welcomed by the Brunei Darussalam Association of Women Entrepreneurs as the host of the visit.

While in this country, the group had the opportunity to visit interesting places including Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah’s Islamic Treasure Hall, Art and Handicraft Training Center; Musufiya Enterprise which is a clothing printing and manufacturing company, Myraaputra Quickbites Cake House and Soto Hasma Stall.

With such a visit, it not only aims to strengthen the friendship between the members of the group and the organizers but also indirectly to share knowledge, skills and experience of the beauty of religion, history and culture and the potential of society in this country.

The visit is also a return visit where the Brunei Darussalam Association of Women Entrepreneurs once visited the district around the end of 2023.
