BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, OCT 16 – A total of 30 female bowlers consisting of members of the Queen of The Lanes (QoTL) Club, the Philippine Bowling Club and the Kuala Belait Bowling Association participated in a bowling tournament organized by the QoTL Club in conjunction with the club’s 10th anniversary concerned, at iBowl Utama, Batu Satu, in the capital, recently.
Present as the guest of honor to complete the prize giving session to the winners at the end of the event was the Acting Chairman of the Bandar Seri Begawan Town Board, Dayang Sharinah binti Haji Suhaimi.
Through the tournament, Pengiran Siti Khasmillah binti Pengiran Haji Omarali won first place with 660 pin drops, followed by Dayang Nurha binti Eya in second place with 638 pin drops, and the third winner was Dayangku Nadia binti Pengiran Haji Jaafar with 633 pin drops.
The tournament is open to players aged 35 and over which aims not only to highlight the talent of women in bowling but it is also intended to further strengthen the friendship between bowling fans in this country.
