BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 15 OCT – Former Brunei Youth Ship Plan (ex-BPY) 94 participants who followed the Southeast Asia and Japan Ship Plan Program (SSEAYP) in 1994, held a reunion at a hotel in the Kampung Anggrek Desa area, recently.
Present as the guest of honor at the ceremony was the former leader of Brunei Darussalam (BNL) 94, Haji Mohd Zali bin Haji Arsad.
A total of 25 ex-BPY 94 members and guests were also present at the ceremony which was enlivened with a 30th anniversary cake cutting session, exhibitions, and performances and lucky prizes.
Being friendly while reminiscing and exchanging views and ideas between former participants and leaders also brightened the atmosphere of the ceremony.
With such an event, ex-BPY 94 also hopes that the existing spirit of friendship will continue to flow from time to time. In the meantime, immediately after this reunion, they also held a similar ceremony to celebrate the anniversary of SSEAYP 1994 with representatives from seven countries including Brunei Darussalam which took place in Bali, Indonesia.
