BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 24 SEPT – The Public Works Department has announced the temporary closure of the middle lane on the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Expressway towards Gadong from 25 September to 9 October.
The temporary closure is to make way for basic road repair work which starts from 10pm to 5am and is subject to weather conditions.
Meanwhile, half of the road on the Tungku Highway towards Jerudong will also be temporarily closed from 26 September to 10 October from 10pm to 5am and this is also subject to weather conditions.
The temporary closure is due to asphalt paving works on the highway.
Accordingly, road users in the two locations are advised to always be careful and obey the road instruction signs and the set speed limit.
