KUCHING, 7 OCT – The participation of Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) at the recent InnoTrans 2024 exhibition in Berlin opened up the space to hold consultations with public service operators.
Its Chief Executive Officer, Mazli Mustaffa in a statement today said Sarawak Metro’s participation in the world’s largest trade fair which focuses on the rail transport industry is a significant achievement for the organisation.
The participation was at the invitation of the Malaysian Foreign Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), as part of the MATRADE trade delegation for the exhibition under the ‘Astaka Malaysia’ or Malaysia Pavilion.
“Participating in this prestigious event is a matter of pride for us, especially as a company based in Sarawak considering that this biennial event brings together key players in the industry from all over the world.
“The valuable opportunity given by MATRADE and Malaysia Rail Industry Corporation (MARIC) not only gave us the opportunity to share the story of Sarawak’s public transport transformation but also created other opportunities,” he said. – Named
