EUCLID, Ohio — Marquise Davis set school records for Cleveland Heights and flirted with state records Saturday by rushing for 465 yards and eight touchdowns in the Tigers’ 70-27 win at Euclid.

The Tigers (5-3) never punted, which is one of Davis’ normal duties in addition to running back, where he rushed the football 27 times through three quarters.

Cleveland Heights rushed for 533 yards as a team with freshman Elijah Harris adding 63 yards on seven carries, including the go-ahead score in the first quarter.

Euclid (2-7) found success through the air, as sophomore Dion Russell completed 8 of 18 passes for 103 yards, including an early score to Colby Orr. Senior Kylan Steuball threw for 79 yards on 7-of-10 passing with two TD tosses to Jimmie Clemis Jr. and James Tisino. Sophomore Kei’Shjuan Telfair added a 75-yard kickoff return for the Panthers.

Watch the highlights above and hear from Davis, tackle Sandale Jackson, center Jason Owens and Cleveland Heights coach Mac Stephens.
