The SPD in the Berlin House of Representatives is warning that the current strikes pose a “threat” to public daycare centers. “These strikes are not only leading to deficits running into the millions, but are also putting economically healthy companies in a situation that threatens their existence,” says Alexander Freier-Winterwerb, spokesman for youth and family policy.
