Symposium discusses the development of rehabilitation medicine

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, OCT 13 – Rehabilitation medicine is the future of health care where it not only focuses on the treatment of the body but leads to the transformation of life.

In addition, it is also the heart of holistic care where it not only looks at diagnosis and treatment but links between survival and quality of life thus ensuring that patients not only survive but live well.

The matter was stated by the Head of the Department of Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Change Consultant, Brunei Neuroscience Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre, Jerudong Coast Specialist Center (PJSC), Dr Abang Haji Muhd ​​Fahmy bin Abang Haji Hepnie in his welcome speech at the Brunei Rehabilitation Medicine Symposium which took place at the Dewan PJSC lecture, today.

Present as the guest of honor at the symposium was the Executive Director of PJSC, Dr Haji Mazrul Adimin bin Haji Awang Besar.

In his speech, Dr Abang Haji Muhd ​​Fahmy stated that rehabilitation medicine is a meeting between innovation and science, which is a rapidly developing field of healthcare and witnessing innovations in medicine such as the development of robotics and artificial intelligence.
