Tennis player Sabine Lisicki is happy about the birth of her first child. “Our hearts are filled with love and happiness,” the 34-year-old wrote in English on Instagram. They are grateful to “welcome Bella into our world.” The former Wimbledon finalist posted a photo of a baby’s head held by four hands. She also wrote the hashtag #babygirl.
Sports celebrities such as former star ski racer Lindsey Vonn posted their congratulations under the post, for which Lisicki thanked them. She had announced at the end of June that she wanted to return to the professional tour after the birth of her child. The former 12th-ranked athlete in the world has not competed in a tournament since December of last year.
