Tennis player Eva Lys missed the final at the WTA tournament in Monastir, Tunisia. The 22-year-old from Hamburg had to give up in the semifinal against Briton Sonay Kartal when the score was 1:5 in the first set due to illness, the WTA announced. The match lasted just 22 minutes.

On her way to the semifinals of the hard court tournament in the 250 category, the world number 126 had surprised, among other things, with a three-set victory against the number one seeded Belgian Elise Mertens.
