According to the latter, the Armenian Olympic team is not far behind other teams with its potential.
“The results achieved by the Armenian athletes are wonderful. Our athletes show what they are capable of in the face of less than glorious conditions. This also applies to medicine, because Armenia does not have the necessary arsenal that the national teams must have,” he said.
Mosinyan highlighted that a different system of financial satisfaction should be implemented in Armenia for the development of sports medicine.
“We need a refresh. The doctors working in the teams should be paid normally so that they have the desire to come to the field of sports medicine,” he said.
At the 33rd Olympic Games held in Paris, the capital of France, Armenia represented 15 athletes and won 4 medals. Gymnast Artur Davtyan, wrestler Artur Aleksanyan, weightlifter Varazdat Lalayan became silver medalists of the Summer Olympics. Wrestler Malkhas Amoyan won a bronze medal.
