BELAIT, 17 OCT – The Belait District Religious Affairs Office held a Certificate of Participation Presentation Ceremony for the Gathering and Parade in conjunction with the Celebration of the Maulud of the Prophet Muhammad SAW at the Belait District Level for the Year 1446H / 2024M, yesterday, at the Serikandi Ballroom, Cafe and Restaurant, Jalan Setia Diraja , Kuala Belait.
Present as the guest of honor and presenting certificates at the ceremony was the Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance), Awang Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim.
Also present were the Acting Belait District Officer, Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, and the Belait District Chief Religious Affairs Officer, Awang Mohamad Aliyani bin Ismail.
The ceremony continued with a special lecture delivered by Senior Assistant Professor, Center for Jawi and Kitab Turath Studies, Seri Begawan University College of Religion, Dr Haji Harapandi bin Dahri.
Among other things, the ceremony was held with the aim of strengthening the relationship of fraternity and teamwork between officials and the public.
It is also an appreciation to the teams that participated in the assembly and parade to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW this year.
