BELAIT, SEPT 22 – The cheerful and cheerful chirping of singing birds fills the atmosphere when the people around Kampong Lumut gather at the gathering held for two days starting today at the village hall.
The event organized by the Joerose Family and Group in collaboration with the Kampong Lumut 1 Village Consultative Council (MPK) was held to enliven the weekend for local residents to visit and spend time with friends and family.
Among the main activities held include the Bird Singing Exhibition and Competition which attracted more than 80 entries presenting rhythmic chirping songs for visitors to enjoy.
Acting Head of Kampong Lumut 1 and also chairman of the council, Taib bin Haji Salleh explained that in addition to the bird singing competition and exhibition, various local entrepreneurs also had the opportunity to promote their products and businesses through the stalls provided.
“As the guest chairman, I hope that the songbird competition and this event will continue to receive support as we plan to organize more activities in the future.”
The guest continues until tomorrow, September 23 from 6 am to 6 pm.
