BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 11 – In conjunction with the celebration of the Maulud of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports yesterday attended the Dikir Ceremony at Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque, Kampong Jerudong.
The event, which was conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Department of Youth and Sports (KKBS) and also the Department of Museums, was attended by the Director of Administration and Finance, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Yang Mulia Haji Asiruddin bin Haji Zaini as the head of the party. and also Acting Director of Museums, Department of Museums, Pengiran Haji Rosli bin Pengiran Haji Halus.
The ceremony started with congregational Maghrib prayer followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah to start the maulud dikir also recited before continuing with the Khairuman Dikir/ Badat Dikir by the Firqah Al-Falaah Group, KKBS.
The ceremony ended with the congregational Fardu Isyak Prayer, followed by Dikir Marhaban and Doa Dikir read by Awang Mohd Hafiq Fakhry bin Affandi, Bilal of Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque, Kampong Jerudong. While the Prayer for the Protection of the Sultan and the Nation of Brunei Darussalam by Awang Haji Muhammad Yadiy bin Haji Yusof, Imam of Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque, Kampong Jerudong.
Also present at the ceremony were directors of divisions and departments, officers and staff of KKBS and the departments under it.
