The full concert of the Maulud celebration went smoothly

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 12 SEPT – A large-scale celebration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW will be held to further develop and spread the teachings of Islam in this country in addition to commemorating the birth of the Prophet SAW on every 12 Rabiulawal of the Hijrah year.

Accordingly, a full parade for the ceremony was held at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien, Bandar Seri Begawan this morning.

Also present to witness the exercise this morning was the President of National Customs as Advisor to the Supreme Committee of the Celebration of Islamic Great Days at the National Level and the Al-Quran Reading Musabaqah of the Adult Section at the National Level in the year 1446 Hijrah, His Highness Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Carib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar. The Minister of Religious Affairs as the Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Celebration of Islamic Great Days at the National Level and Al-Quran Reading Musabaqah for the Adult Section at the National Level Year 1446 Hijrah, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Director Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman; The Minister of Health as Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Honorable Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar; Government Mufti, Honorable Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Dr. Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned; Deputy Minister (Director of Public Services) in the Prime Minister’s Department, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos; and also the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan.

Also present were the permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries of the joint operators and other members of the highest committee.

The Assembly and Parade of the Celebration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW at the National Level in the Year 1446 Hijrah will be held simultaneously in all four districts with the main focus at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien, Bandar Seri Begawan on Monday, 12 Rabiulawal 1446 corresponding to 16 September, at 7 am.

The event was jointly managed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport and Information Communications, as well as the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation with the theme Keeping Reason Guided by the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam.
