BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 20 – Lambak Jalan Bedil Religious School (morning session) has emerged as the winner in the Quiz Competition in conjunction with the Program Hubbul lImi (Mentai llmu), followed by Lambak Kanan Religious School (afternoon session) in second place and in third place won by Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Masna Religious School.
The program held at Pengiran Anak Puteri Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School, Kampung Serusop yesterday was attended by the District Islamic Studies Officer for the Brunei IA Area, Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU), Dayang Suriati binti Haji Awang Mohamad as a special guest ceremony and also completed the presentation of prizes to the winners.
The quiz competition is run by the Religious School Leaders’ Committee (JKPSSU) Brunei IA Area and is aimed at Grade VI students of religious schools in the Brunei IA area.
The program was held with the aim of producing excellent students in addition to strengthening the knowledge of religious subjects as well as fostering enthusiasm and motivation among Grade VI students before they face the Secondary Religious School Certificate Examination (SSSRU).
