As a result of the study of the verbal complaint received in connection with the RA “President’s Cup” amateur swimming tournament, it was found that the regulations limit the participation of only professional athletes whose names are included in the RA swimming ranking table, or who have participated in Armenian championships or international tournaments in the last 5 years. “Armenpress”According to the report, the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Armenia issued a message about this.
The regulation does not provide for any restrictions on the participation of coaches. At the same time, we inform you that the RA Ministry of Education and Culture will consider the possibility of coaches participating in the amateur swimming tournament in a separate group during the preparation for next year’s tournament.
The reason for the complaint was the misunderstanding in the oral speech, which was clarified. Since no rule violations were found, all winners and prize winners will receive their prize money (list attached).
The Armenian Prime Minister’s Cup amateur swimming tournament was held on August 17 in the beach area of ​​Lake Sevan in the Shoghakat settlement (former Shorzha) of Chambarak community, Gegharkunik marz, RA. Cash incentives are provided for participants who take 1-10 places.
