According to the decision of the Government of Armenia, redistribution was made in the 2024 state budget and 476 million 241 thousand drams were allocated from the reserve fund to the Ministry of KSMS for the purpose of organizing and holding the 37th Military Wrestling World Championship to be held in Yerevan on November 18-24.

“Since 1995, the RA Ministry of Defense has been a member of the International Council of Military Sports (CISM), which is the largest sports organization in the world after the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The servicemen of the RA Ministry of Defense, having participated in various championships and games of this structure since 2014, have won many prize places.

It is noted that the holding of the World Championship of Military Wrestling will contribute to the development and popularization of wrestling in Armenia, as well as the replenishment of the necessary property for wrestling in Armenia and the restoration of sports facilities.
