The German Paralympics team has several chances of winning gold in the tenth competition in and around Paris. German athletes are among the favorites in cycling and on the athletics sprint track. A medal is also certain in table tennis. The wheelchair basketball players are also keen to win it.

The highlights of the Paralympics day

9.35 a.m.: Maike Hausberger is aiming for her third medal in the road race. After gold in the individual time trial and bronze on the track, she is considered one of the favorites to win a medal.

11:00 a.m.: At the end of the table tennis competitions, Sandra Mikolaschek will face the Chinese Gu Xiaodan in the semifinals. The final will take place at 6:00 p.m.

4:00 p.m.: The wheelchair basketball players can win a medal for the first time since Barcelona 1992. In the match for places, coach Michael Engel’s team is fighting for bronze.

19:40: After winning bronze in the 100 meters, prosthetic sprinter Felix Streng is considered a gold contender in the 200 meters at the Stade de France.

ZDF broadcasts live from 11:10 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. and shows highlights from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. In addition, numerous competitions can be seen in individual streams on sportschau.de and zdf.de/sport.
