Two Greater Clevelanders – a Statehouse veteran and a well-credentialed suburban city council member – are vying to represent in Columbus the redrawn 24th Ohio Senate district. The incumbent, Sen. Matt Dolan, a Chagrin Falls Republican, can’t seek re-election due to General Assembly term limits.
The extensively redistricted 24th District now includes Berea, Broadview Heights, Brooklyn, Linndale, Middleburg Heights, North Olmsted, North Royalton, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township, Parma, Parma Heights, Strongsville and parts of Cleveland Wards 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17.
