Trump’s mental competency decline raises concerns for voters

The sad reality facing voters is the increasingly obvious decline of former Pres. Donald Trump‘s mental competency. Anyone who expressed concern about President Joe Biden’s mental competency should be even more concerned about Trump. When he argues that he passed a test, understand that a 5- or 6-word memory test is not a full competency test.

It seems unnecessary to demand the release of his test results when he is unable to answer questions coherently, sways to music for 39 minutes during a town hall, gets confused about the identities of people he knows, falls asleep in public meetings, etc. It is deeply sad to watch, but it is a danger to our nation. His cognitive functioning will continue to decline.

We can imagine the chaos that will result. Conspiracy theories, militias attempting to take control, disruption of government functioning, interference of other nations? And an unprepared man abruptly pushed into office.

JD Vance does not have the experience to be president. He has not been in the Senate long enough to get his footing. His committee assignments relate to internal issues, and he has no foreign policy experience.

We must be honest about this and do what is best for our nation.
