CLEVELAND, Ohio – Two men accused of blocking traffic and lighting a fire during a street takeover on Cleveland’s West Side denied the charges during a court appearance Thursday morning.
John Dietrich, 20, of Barberton and Gauge Franklin, 18, of Akron are facing several charges in connection to a street takeover on Sept. 15. Prosecutors say the two men and a third suspect, a 17-year-old from Norton, were driving together when they helped block the intersection of West 25th and Lorain Avenue. They are also accused of lighting a ring of fire during the incident.
