US rock star Jon Bon Jovi has a Woman prevented from jumping from a bridge and presumably saved her life. “Hooray for Jon Bon Jovi and his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge on Tuesday night,” Nashville Police Department in Tennessee said on Wednesday. “Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come down from the ledge over the Cumberland River.”
According to the website Deadline, Bon Jovi was to shoot a music video on the bridgewhen he spotted a woman standing outside the railing at the edge of the cliff. A video released by news channel WBIR shows Bon Jovi and another woman climbing onto the woman standing behind the railing go over, talk to her briefly and then help her climb over the railing back onto the bridge. Bon Jovi then takes the woman in his arms and walks with her to the end of the bridge.
Bon Jovi’s band of the same name had a number of hits, especially in the 80s, including “Bed of Roses” and “Livin on a Prayer”. (AFP)
