BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 8 OCT – The Public Works Department (JKR), Ministry of Development informs the public about the water supply disruption / low water pressure occurring in the areas of Mukim Bangar, Mukim Batu Apoi and Mukim Labu at this time.
In a statement issued by JKR, here, it was stated that the interruption of water supply and low water pressure was caused by the less consistent quality of raw water at the Batang Duri Raw Water Pump Station and subsequently affected the production of clean water in the areas concerned.
Currently, the department has already prepared several blue tanks at Labu Estate Mosque and Batu Apoi Mosque for the convenience of the affected residents. The JKR will continue to work to restore the water supply as it is in the near future.
In that connection, people’s patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.
