Western series “Yellowstone” continues on November 12th

The new episodes of the neo-western series “Yellowstone” will start in German-speaking countries on November 12th. However, they will then only be available on AXN Black, as the pay-TV broadcaster announced.

The episodes will be available linearly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and simultaneously in the media library. The pay-TV program is also available in Germany as a media library on other platforms, including Vodafone, MagentaTV, Amazon Prime Video Channels and waipu.tv.

2025 also on Paramount+

The season will then be available on Paramount+ “in the course of next year,” a spokeswoman for the German-language streaming service said when asked.

The Paramount Network has already announced the start of the remaining episodes of season five in the USA for November 10th. The Hollywood strike, including by writers, had prevented filming, so that only part of the season could be seen and was abruptly canceled.

“Yellowstone” by screenwriter Taylor Sheridan, with Hollywood star Kevin Costner in the lead role as the family patriarch, is a contemporary western series. It’s all about the Dutton family in the US state of Montana on the border with Canada, who run the Yellowstone ranch. They fight to preserve their property and stand up against large external investors.

In Germany, the series, which started in 2018, is now available on several streaming providers. Earlier seasons were also broadcast in German on AXN Black and its predecessor, Sony AXN.
